Science Fair

Thursday, November 16, 2006

9:30am-12:00pm

Our all-school Science Fair will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2006. All student projects will undergo a two-tiered evaluation process; the classroom teacher will review and submit eligible projects to the Science Fair Committee. The Science Fair Committee will then screen all applications and determine which projects qualify for entry into the Science Fair. Qualifying students will be assigned a booth to display their projects. A panel of judges consisting of teachers, Infinity Principal,  CPS representatives will determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. All participants will receive a certificate of achievement. Parents and their guests are welcome to attend the fair between 9:30am and 12:00pm on Thursday, November 16, 2006.

Art Fair

Mark your calendars for Infinity’s 3rd annual Art Fair. We anticipate showcasing the work of over 30 student artists. Admission is free and all student work is for sale. Booths will be set up in the school hallway and manned by members of the Student Council. All artworks on display will be original student works of art in the following categories:

· Drawing

· Jewelry

· Mixed Media

· Painting

· Photography

· Printmaking

· Sculpture

This event is also a fundraiser for our school store and Infinity Community Literature Circle program.

General public welcomed to attend.
